The Smiths

Hello again! I see Ace and Ginger sent you on over to my house to find out what happened after I got knocked up in the "Love Machine". Who knew that a little bit of slap and tickle and a side of woohoo would end up with me prego? Not me..Jonathon and I moved into our own little country cottage. It's very nice. Plenty of room to grow. We got married kinda quiet like because of my condition. I was just obviously pregnant and I didn't want everyone making snide lil comments about a pre-marital baby. My mother raised me better and I"m ashamed that I ended up in this state. I love my Matthew though...He's the only sim for me.
A few days later I gave birth to our daughter Susan...It was a rough pregnancy. I only have a so-so job and Jonathon is getting on in years so he doesn't make as much. Turns out he got screwed out of his retirement benefits.
After Susan was born he was disappointed to not have a boy, so we talked it over and even though it was prolly not the smartest thing to do decided to try again for a boy. Matthew is very concerned with having someone to carry on his name, and with his age we weren't sure how long it would be safe to wait before starting our family. Hopefully Matthew will live forever but life isn't like that.
Susan celebrated her birthday before the baby got here...Thank goodness...Babies are soo much work and I really wanted to have a birthday cake for her. We couldn't afford to throw a party and we were soo tired that neither of us was up to a party.
And then Eric arrived. Matthew is soo happy. He's soo proud of his son. He's pleased as punch with me also for giving him the son he always wanted. He's from an era where to not have a son is a bad thing. I think this completed him in many ways.
Not that he doesn't adore Susan. He's been trying to teach her to walk and use the potty, but it's slow going. We have soo little time between the two babies and trying to get a start on our first home together.
It's running both of us to exhaustion. Poor Matthew even fell asleep at the table one night...
Luckily I found this formula that is suposed to help kids learn faster so hopefully we'll get the kids learning skills and with some luck find some time for our selves also.

Sounds like this family is going through some money troubles. at least Matthew got his son. Hopefully he'll be around to help raise both kids for awhile longer.
