Comments from a Bystander

Round 1 was interesting. I tried to give each family a unique story. This is my first attempt at anything like this. I might eventually make it into a different format, we'll see.

With the Radcliff family I tried to kill off James since he wasn't properly linked to Jonathon as Jonathon's brother but the lil stinker lived thru repairing the tv even after being electrocuted and I couldn't arrange another way for him to die in the first week. I might move him out but both him and Jonathon are not likely to get their lifetime wants. James wants to have 20 simultaneous lovers and Jonathon wants 20 simultaneous pet best friends. I tried to get Jessica into private school but the headmaster got stuck in the bathroom it was pretty funny. I took the old geezers to the public lot and their needs were sooo hard to manage.

The Stiffs were easier and when Andrea got along with Mr. Big so well I decided to have her marry him for his money. I revamped the house afterwards and it was alot nicer.

Jason Jones was hilarious. He got in his bathtub first thing in the lot and started playing. It had me rolling. His garden is the first one where i paid attention to the game guide for planting and watering for skill raises. He had my first ever thriving plant. I was soo happy. He's really digging on Ginger which was a nice start for her because she's a popularity sim so when I played her lot it gave me a leg up. Mr. Big likes to steal his paper though.

The Rivalarias were difficult because soo many sims and sooooo little space. David almost lost his job for his grades but I finally got him happy enough to study to get it fixed. The elder is actually helpful. I have him work his cooking alot and clean up after the others. With two working adults and two working teens i got money in fast enough to adjust the house so their needs are getting met a little better. It's still rough but it's coming along.

With the Montanas I had no intention of having any of them fall for anyone just for their money but when I sent Virginia to the skating rink the one she liked the best was the wrinkly old man who worked for the garden club. They had such good chemistry I couldn't ignore it. It's annoying that Priya doesn't have a phone though. I'm not sure how to get her and Ginger best friends without installing her into a house. And I can't do that without breaking the rules for the challenge and I have been soo good about not cheating.

Except with the Stewarts. They had sooo little money coming in and with going to public school and all three teens working I did have to use a maxmotives cheat to get them to sit down with all their homework. I actually started and restarted several times to get the hang of playing a house without adults. This was the first time I had a house without an adult salary coming in. I didn't feel too bad about it. Some of the mistakes were mine. I didn't realise Adam would haunt his family and I saved at an odd point after the first day and got stuck with a ghost I couldn't get rid of til morning. He tortured his kids. Lesson learned....delete all headstones of PHs, and never move the Tombstone if you can help it. The kids were actually alot more manageable by the time the week was over and I could finally afford some better fun things.

So I hope ya enjoy my blog. Don't hate me for cheating with the Stewarts. I never understood how much having an adult help a kid with homework helped and private school is sooo missed. I am a pro at getting sims into private school. Anywho...comments and feedback appreciated.

My tombstone..where's my tombstone!!! What did my kids do with my tombstone!!!!
Hrmph..I'll teach them! I visited each one of them that first night...was alot of fun... I moved my kids here to show them where I grew up after their mom died to a freak accident...then I was a victim of a freak hail storm. They've been trying soo hard to survive alone.
Bella grew up from a toddler, how they managed to get her happy long enough to grow up well I don't know. I'm not even sure they taught her how to use the potty let alone walk or talk before she grew up. They did spend a good portion of what little money they had for a nanny and toys for her though.
Jenny went into town to buy them some handhelds for their enjoyment and met some boy she's been talking bout ever since..
She also met a vampire..cant say I approve but I can't really do anything about it can I?
The kids were doing sooo horrible in school...kept getting home from school in bad moods, then home from work even worse off. They finally skipped work the night Jenny went to town for the handhelds. They had such big piles of homework. Jenny hadn't done her homework in three days. They've had to struggle soo hard. I never got to help them with their homework so it's very difficult for them.
The week ended okay though. They grew a bunch of money trees, and between that and their part time jobs, things are really starting to look up. Their grades are improving dramatically. Luckily the older kids are making it easier on the younger ones by helping them with their homework....I hope it all works out for my kids...hrm..what's that light over there..I'm gonna go see what that is...you have a nice day ya'hear?

Well hello Stranger!! Welcome to the neighborhood...watch your head..we like pillow fights in this house and we're not afraid to make your head spin round! That's me, walloping my sister Ginger in the head...yeah I know my mom was like soo original with our names...I think she got confused after having triplets and thought she had twins.. She said something bout she thought the doctor was asking for my nickname when she named Ginger and then she never bothered to correct anything when they explained what she'd done. My siblings and I moved here because once upon a time our mother was from here, but then she met dad and moved to the city. We wanted a small town taste so we packed our bags and moved here.
Ginger already has a boyfriend and is trying to make as many friends as possible. Ginger is always talking bout Jason and dreaming bout him. He lives down the street from us. We've all got started on our dream job career paths. Hopefully we won't screw up on the way to our dreams...

Ace likes to play Chess and paint and well do anything that raises his skills and helps him make more money. He doesn't really like the house much yet. Hopefully soon we'll get it more in his style.Ginger likes to socialize..This is her friend Priya...unfortunately Priya doesn't have a phone so she's giving Ginger fits. Ginger doesn't know how she's suppose to be friends with someone who doesn't own a phone.


I also went out to the skating rink one day to try and make friends myself, and met Matthew...He makes my heart beat fast...he's soo handsome. I don't mind that he's older..someday I want to move out and marry him. It'd be nice to have his babies..but we'll see...

What...What do you want?? Do you mind?? I"m taking a bubble bath here! Hrmph...not going away til I tell you bout my crazy family eh?? Fine...hrmph...Well my boys moved in here with me their kids after they gave up on that floozy they was with. Who is the floozy?? Well that'd bethe kids momma...She refused to marry him said she didn't wanna be tied down..the truth was she was gettin it on everywhere with every sim that'd have her...She even did BOTH my boys..I guess the floozy was good in bed....they said something bout her being a gymnast....if that's true I shoulda give her a turn but anyways....The boys decided they'd had enough of her when they realized she was playing them both. John had actually though all the kids were his. Fred thought they were his...After going on some crazy TV show that specializes in who is the babies daddies.... They put the kids thru some therapy and decided to kick the floozie to the curb. They got custody of the kids and moved in with me.
My grandson's both have jobs...though David almost lost his when he put off his school work. We finally made him skip work and catch up. Now him and Tony do their school work together.
I'm worried bout David n Tony..I hope they do do something stupid like my boys did like fall for the same girl...David brought home this chickie dee named Melody..purty lil thing...And what do I see but Tony chatting her up!! They both seem to be interested in her...Tony didn't pay much attention to that other chikie he brought home...Sophie I think her name was....Anywho I hope they don't end up in a rivalry like my boys...
The boys are finally getting along better after the talk show..things starting to work out real good...
They had the headmaster over for some dinner I cooked and got all the kids into private school. Hopefully the kids will like that better than public school.


Hopefully that means they'll start helping around the house more! Between cleaning up after everybody, gardening, and trying to learn to cook so they don't all starve...I'm bone tired....


So can you leave me alone already so this old man can enjoy his bubble bath?! Thank you!

Row for land row for land!! Huh who are you?? what do you mean who am I? I am the great, and fabulous Jason Jones! How'd you get on my ship..I mean in my bathroom?? Oh ok...fine you wanna know bout me?? I'm a capricorn that enjoys the little things in life. My hobbies are gardening, playing in the bathtub, and trying to get ahead in my job. I like hot dates but I'm not very good at dates yet.

My gardening is coming along grrrreat though. Had an awesome crop for my first try...
This is my girlfriend Ginger Montana...she's soo pretty. We went out on a date but it was horrible. Hopefully I'll get ahead in my job soon so we can move on with the relationship but we'll see...now if you'll excuse me I need to get my tub..I mean my ship to land so I can go play in the snow!

Hi I'm Abbey, that's my grandpa in her ohhh sooo fashionable - NOT - house. My dad and me moved in with her after my Mom died. Grandma said she'd help dad out, so we moved to this awful place. So far I am sooo not impressed.

I try to spend time with Grandma when I can but it's hard going to school and working part time. This week was horrible for everyone in the house though. We all got jobs, me and Dad got fired, and Grandma got demoted. Grandma isn't that fond of work. She had settled down to enjoy life here in Point Forgotten and then we moved in with her. She didn't like working so when we all went out to town she met a guy who was well off and decided to seduce him for his money. Then she went and fell for him. It's kinda creepy cuz Seth is like younger than my dad. He's a professional party-goer but has dreams of being a Chief of Staff. Grandma keeps telling him to go to work because we can't afford for him to start at the bottom rung right now.

When he gets grouchy with her she just grabs his ass and they go upstairs. They ended up getting engaged and married inside a week. Luckily Seth had LOTS of money so we were able to expand the house alot. It's kinda gross living with Seth and Grandma though they make out all over the place like teenagers!!! The making out is suppose to be MY job!
So...when the week was ending I started trying to put the moves on one of the locals boys....
But unfortunately he had to go home before we could get anywhere...oh well...maybe next week!

Hi I'm Jessica!! My dad and me just moved in with my Grandpa Jonathon and his friend James. James is kinda funny because he likes to do stupid things, like fix a tv he's not skilled enough to fix. He seems to have a deathwish or something. Grandpa Jonathon really likes this pretty lady named Vyn Lind. He said something about maybe her being a reason to get interested in life again even though he's old and doesn't think he'll be around for a long time.


My daddy is so awesome. He loves the little things in life that make life grand. He tried to get me in private school but Grandpa and James made it impossible by going to bed early, and then Dad got trapped in the bathroom with the Headmaster and well let's just say it's not an impressive bathroom. Dad taught me how to do my homework all by myself, which was awesome because it was sooo hard before!!
Grandpa and James are trying to re-connect as friends. I guess they used to be best friends but then something happened. Grandpa said something bout James slipping Grandma the salami?? I dunno what that means. I don't understand why he would get mad at James for giving Grandma free meat... Oddly enough Dad said that's why he left Mommy because the mailman slipped her some salami. That's why we had to move to Point Forgotten, cuz my mommy got free salami from the mailman. I don't understand it but oh well.

Grandpa started growing some money trees to help dad with the bills. And I got a cute wormrat named Panda!!! I really like him now that his cage isn't in my room. He was keeping me up at night!! The snow started falling finally and tomorrow is my birthday!!

Welcome to Point Forgotten

Our week starts with beautiful fall for each of our families. It's a rough start for them all. They moved here to this place at the end of the rainbow for very different reasons....

What are those reasons??? You'll have to stay and meet our families....

And by the time their week is done snow will be on the ground...
